Grape Vine Jewellery

The grapevine, which is grown all over the world and has numerous symbolic meanings, is the most well-known vine. The vine, especially the leaf, is a symbol for "life" in ancient Sumerian literature; this idea is repeated across Asia.
The vine is a recurring element in Celtic art and Celtic lore. On tapestries, calligraphy, knot work, and carvings, winding vines are frequent motifs, and the organic shape of the plant also lends it well to flower jewellery design.
